 World Music Day

Music on the Intersections

Ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome to our digital world and happy world music day to all.

World Music Day is celebrated on 21st June every year. The day originated in France in 1982, and since then, it has been celebrated all over the world with music enthusiasm. World Music Day is about coming together and rejoicing in the joy of making or listening to music.

The theme for World Music Day 2023 is "Music on the Intersections" This theme is about the immense influence of music in unifying communities and individuals.

Why do we celebrate World Music Day?

Music plays a special role in everyone's life and gets us through our difficult or happy times. To acknowledge the importance of music and to rejoice in the making of music, we celebrate World Music Day annually on 21st June.

Music Day is observed to provide free music to all music enthusiasts and create a forum for amateur and professional artists to demonstrate their abilities to the rest of the world. It is commemorated to emphasize the value of music and its benefits.

World Music Day is celebrated worldwide to honour the spirit of music and rejoice in it. The day is marked by an open event where different concerts are held for people to enjoy and for artists to perform and sing their hearts out.
